GeoGroup regularly undertakes vital geotechnical and exploration assignments in some of Southern Africa's most extreme and remote locations. These challenging projects often require deploying drilling rigs and crews far from established cities, towns, and villages. Successfully navigating this process begins long before the first hole is drilled, demanding meticulous logistical planning to ensure operational efficiency and, most importantly, the comfort and safety of our teams.

To provide necessary comfort in the field, we deploy custom-kitted, flat-pack containers that quickly convert into comfortable sleeping quarters. These solutions also include fully equipped ablution facilities with restrooms and showers, guaranteeing that staff maintain essential hygiene standards. For larger teams or specific site conditions, we utilise durable, long-term outdoor tents. Catering to the daily nutritional needs of the crew is a top priority, which is why every camp includes a fully equipped and stocked kitchen, complete with a dedicated chef.
