Women's Day Community Feeding Outreach

In honour of Women's Day in South Africa, the incredible women of the GeoGroup recently took part in a heartwarming initiative to make a difference by joining The Cradle of Hope's community feeding program in Krugersdorp. By coming together, they helped serve meals to approximately 500 community members, an experience that left a lasting impact on everyone involved.

The GeoGroup team worked side-by-side with The Cradle of Hope's staff and volunteers, assisting with dishing up the meals and creating a moment of connection with those community members in need. It was a particularly emotional experience seeing so many people, especially women, children, and the elderly, who face food insecurity daily.

"We always strive to give back to our communities, with donations and taking the time to tend to these individuals" shared Laura-Lee Rijsmus, the group's Accounts and Marketing Director.

With the additional support of Caron Rossiter, the GeoGroup was also able to donate much-needed food items and sweets, further contributing to the program's success. This event wasn't just about providing food; it was about demonstrating the power of unity and compassion, a true testament to the spirit of Women's Day.
