Human Rights Day 2024

Human Rights Day reminds us of the declaration we made as a country guaranteeing fundamental rights for all. Safeguarding these rights is an ongoing act, and not an easy one. It is one we can only do when we work together. We must stand against discrimination, amplify those voices not easily heard, and hold ourselves accountable. More specifically, in South Africa, it's a time to remember and celebrate those voices who cried out against injustice and the hands that fought for the attainment of democracy.

It is our duty to carry out this legacy by actively protecting the rights of others and by building a culture where everyone lives with dignity and respect. Let's make every day Human Rights Day.
