Covers and Cans 2024!

The winter chill is upon us, and for many families in our communities, staying warm and fed can be a real struggle.

This year, we're holding our annual Covers & Cans winter drive, focusing on collecting essential items for those in need. We're not just collecting blankets and canned food (although those are vital too!), we're reaching out to various sanctuaries to ensure everyone has a chance to experience a warm and comfortable winter.

Together We Can Make a Difference
GeoGroup is built on a foundation of helping others, and the Covers & Cans drive is a fantastic way for us to come together and make a real difference in the lives of others. Every donation, big or small, brings us closer to our goal of ensuring everyone has access to the essentials they need to stay warm and healthy this winter.

What We're Collecting
Here's a list of items that are most needed:

• Food: Canned food, Long-life milk, Breakfast cereals/porridge, sugar, dry packets of soup, spices, tomato sauce, chutney, mayonnaise, vinegar, maize meal, rice, pasta, concentrate juice.
• Cleaning Products: Dishwashing liquid, washing powder, black rubbish bags, bleach.
• Toiletries: Shampoo and conditioner for children and teenagers (for all types of hair), hair relaxer, roll-on deodorant/ spray deodorant for boys and girls, sanitary pads, and baby nappies.
• Sports equipment is also welcome!
• Anything second hand: Old clothes, blankets, toys, linen etc.

Any donation is gratefully received, but the items above are especially needed.

We are collecting donations at our offices. We kindly ask that all the contributions be received by FRIDAY, the 5th of July for us to distribute the following week in July.
