Lending a Helping Hand

This Human Rights month, the GeoGroup did an outreach to one of the local communities in Grabow in the Western Cape. This informal settlement is one that faces so many hardships; from lack of jobs for the parents to the kids having no clothes, shoes or barely a meal a day. Aunty Poppy is a big support to the community and dedicates her life to helping feed 150 children. What she does for this community is incredible and thanks to people and companies, like Geomechanics, we are able to assist in some way.

Our team was able to prepare a meal for some of the underprivileged kids and staff at a local help centre dedicated to providing essential support there. Being able to make a difference is a core value of the GeoGroup.

We look forward to participating in a winter/blanket drive for this community and others in the coming months.
