GeoGroup management take part in the Cape Town Cycle Tour

The 8 March 2020 saw the cycling of the 42nd edition of the biggest timed bicycle race in the world – The Cape Town Cycle Tour. Two of our GeoGroup managers joined over 30 000 cyclists on the roads of Cape Town, to cycle the 109km men’s race.
Brett Mannix, our Cape Town Branch Manager, rode with his Father Brian (a GeoGroup ex employee) as he completed his 36th cycle tour. Brett is no shirker – this was his sixth Tour

They started at 08:08 in the morning and rode over the finish line for a well-deserved beer 5 hours and 43 minutes later!

Another of our Cape Town based employees, Warwick Nel, Director of Geopile Africa, also took part. This was his 7th tour and he completed it in 4 hours and 3 minutes

You could certainly spot these guys in the crowd in their new GeoGroup cycling kit! Thank you for flying the GeoGroup flag high!
